Granulação aeróbia sob diferentes velocidades ascensionais tratando esgoto doméstico diluído
No estudo apresentado verificou-se que a aplicação de uma menor velocidade ascensional em reatores batch sequenciais favoreceu o desenvolvimento de grânulos aeróbios em menos tempo, com melhor sedimentabilidade e maiores eficiências de remoção de nutrientes.
Aerobic granulation under different air low velocities treating dilute domestic wastewater
The study shows that the application of a lower airflow velocity in Sequential Bach Reactors favoured the development of granules in a shorter time, with better settling properties and higher nutrients removal efficiencies.

Estudo de satisfação dos utilizadores dos serviços de águas e resíduos em Portugal continental
Os resultados deste estudo demonstram um elevado nível de satisfação dos utilizadores finais com os serviços. Ao nível nacional, o abastecimento de água é o serviço que regista maior satisfação. Ao nível regional, a região Norte apresenta os níveis de satisfação mais elevados.
Consumer satisfaction with the water and waste services in Portugal
The results of this study have shown a high level of consumer satisfaction with these services. At the national level, the water supply is the service with greatest satisfaction levels. At regional level, Norte region consumers are the most satisfied.

Neste artigo faz-se uma revisão dos critérios de segurança mais utilizados, que geralmente limitam a altura de água, a velocidade do escoamento da inundação e relações entre estas variáveis, e avaliam-se os efeitos da forma da secção transversal, da rugosidade e do declive dos arruamentos no cumprimento desses critérios.
Design for floods – effect of the profile, roughness and slope of streets in safety criteria
In this paper, flood safety criteria are reviewed, which enerally consist of limiting the water height, the flood flow velocity and relationships between these variables. The effects of cross-sectional shape, roughness and slope of the streets in meeting these criteria are also evaluated.
